St. Joseph, MO – Prescott SDA School Teaching Position

The Prescott SDA School located in St. Joseph, Missouri is seeking a full-time K through 8th grades head teacher.  This school has a long history of operating for over 100 years.  The school week is Monday-Thursday.  Current enrollment for the 2021-2022 school year is 10 students. Our diverse student body and supportive parents make this school a great opportunity for any teachers looking to be a part of a very supportive Adventist community. The position requires a current NAD elementary certificate with preferred experience or student teaching experience. Leadership experience or willingness to be mentored in leadership is important, along with a strong desire to continue school growth and recruiting campaigns.

Candidate Requirements and Application Guidelines

Candidate must be a committed Seventh-day Adventist who supports the teachings and 28 Fundamental Beliefs of the church and has teaching experience or student teaching experience in any of the grades K to 8 levels. The ideal candidate has a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in elementary education and a current NAD Elementary certification or a willingness to work toward certification. Salary and benefits are based on the denominational wage scale and policy. Must have the legal right to work in the United States and be able to provide evidence of that right if employed.
